I admittedly have a soft spot for the dumb-blonde genre of chick flick...but seriously, seriously, seriously, I have never ever seen a film as horrendously awful and plotless as The House Bunny. If you have not seen it I highly suggest that you never waste two entire hours of your life doing so as G and I regrettably did last night. The only solace I take in having gone to see this film (if it can even be called that) is that is gave me the chance to stop by my local Urban Planet which, as you may be aware of by now, I am mildly obsessed with. I can always count on good old UP to not disappoint, and yesterday evening was no exception: I found at minimum 20 items that I require in my closet as soon as possible. But speaking of closets, I've recently become inspired to do something about the absolute unorganized mess of mine before anything else enters it. Because in all honesty, anything that enters it as it stands will only be thrown about and lost within a week and a half. The fact that nothing is easy to find and that all seasons and types are kind of mish-mashed and jumbled together is making it increasingly difficult to dress creatively. I'm a big fan of the whole 'sound and organized living space = sound and organized mind' notion, and I believe it's high time for me to take action, so an Ikea trip may be in order today. On a separate note, I've concluded that there is not much which doesn't go with the insane boots I was wearing yesterday. Socks have become a necessity basically overnight, and these thankfully go quite nicely with them as well as with bare feet - and in case I've yet to mention it, multifunctional totally works for me. They're also extraordinarily comfortable...and I'm a walker, meaning I on average I walk close to 10 kilometers a day (that's what you get for being a 20-something without a driver's license, hoorah!) and these boots can take it, meaning that they were indeed a clever and justifiable purchase.

I know what you mean about the closet! I've managed to keep everything inside it neat and tidy for two weeks now which is a record for me but my problem is with laundry...I have a stack about three feet high of stuff i have to iron on my living room couch and not an inkling of will to do it!

ReplyDeletei concur with the organization! I need desperately to go through my clothes and get rid of some, make it lighter, and create some sort of order in the chaos of my wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteand those shoes---- is it weird that i actually enjoy them so much with socks? LOVES them!!!! You look killer in those!
ps. thanks for the info on House Bunny, the "that is freaking hot" and "I'm not here to make soup" was funny in the commercial, but I suppose that didn't transfer over into the whole film. I'd kill to see a good movie soon-- like "Mister Foe" or "Towelhead" (Towelhead looks AMAZING!)
You make those boots look incredibly appealing, like I want them right now.
