Oh, and as mentioned last week, of course keep in mind that Use Small Words is offering a 25% discount to all Modern Guilt readers if you just type the "ourfriends" code into the little box during checkout over at their site.
Moving on: today is for all intensive purposes in my little bubble of a world officially the end of summer. Why, you may ask? Simply put, because it's the first day I've been able to justifiably wear tights without looking like a total weather disregarding nerd. It's actually gettingCOLD again. Like not enjoying sitting out on the balcony kind of cold. Like don't leave the house in just a t-shirt kind of cold. Like you are going to freeze your arse off if you don't pull on some tights kind of cold.
Fortunately for me, I've been looking forward to tights and jackets weather for a short bit of time now, so I still have this romanticized and wholly unrealistic view of autumn and winter in my head...I'm giving myself two weeks until I start crying for summer again. But in the meantime, I'm SO gladly all about black tights and layering.
Wearing
Jacket: Le Tigre...originally purchased for G, but apparently it is too big on him at 6'3"- which in my inverted mind means just wonderfully slouchy enough for me!
Shirt: Use Small Words
Skirt: Billabong
Tights: H&M
Shoes: The Bargain Shop...yes, tis kind of embarrassing, but they're seriously really comfortable and for $5 can you really go wrong?
Backpack: thrifted
well u do that layering well, and i am ALLREADY SCREAMING SUMMER!!!! cos we had the worst summer weather wise.
ReplyDeletei watched gossip girl too. i am addicted, have to admit. i just watch it day after it shows us cos i download it by torrents..so i always dont watch any gossip girl threads befor i have seen the show,(like tfs) no spoilers! :D

I'm completely romanticizing fall/winter as well...I actually love that first few weeks when there's a nip in the air and the leaves start changing - makes me want to go hiking! Thanks for all your comments btw!

i am just so busy because i struggle to create my website and in France it's very hard
it's hard to find the good associate, it's hard to get money from banks, VC, it's hard because of jealousy and spy of media that just want to destroy you
In France, Elle and Vogue magazine are afraid of me, yes, believe me
because i wrote in my baseline that i want to show that real people don't wait for magazine to be stylish
and they don't like of course
so they try to copy me.
But it's another story
i will tell my story when i'll be successful in order to prove that anybody can succeed against big companies
i wish you all the best
Keep on being a delight for your readers
Cheers from Paris
