You were telling me how this ain't no rodeo town...

I came down with something on Sunday evening and did not go into work yesterday, hence the lack of an outfit of the day posting. It would have been a picture of me looking like death with shorts and one of my boyfriend's old t-shirts on anyways, so it's for the best for everyone I believe.

Today I was not quite as unlucky with the being ill thing, but was nonetheless not feeling the most creative I ever have when getting dressed and - ta da, surprise, surprise - went with the old standby: a sheath dress, my love for which knows no bounds. Perpetually flattering, and appropriate, sheaths are the key to what I like to refer to as "one-stop dressing". As much as I love the complexities and intricacies of fashion and style, I'm also a huge fan of ease and as little thought necessary as humanly possible re: what to wear when waking up at 7 a.m. for work. With a sheath, getting dressed is as follows:

a) pull sheath over head

b) pull on shoes

= DONE

c) -optional- jewellery, hair, accessorize, blah, blah, blah
Isn't it lovely?
