Immediate Undertaking

Hello again! So I'm getting really bad at this Monday thing apparently...and, while I don't believe in excuses, I attribute the blogging-Mondayitis I'm experiencing to the following factors:

a) the sun is going down early again...like, 6:00 p.m. early, and it's not even Daylight Savings yet. Je suis desole!

b) Work-work has been busy like whoa. And, at this point in time, they still pay my bills, so I kind of have to do what they say to a certain extent.

c) G and I are working on a number of other projects at the moment, including the Great Apartment Fix-Up 08, which are surprisingly time consuming.
Alright, alright, enough excuses, even I dislike listening to myself make them...in which case I'm not going to even to begin with, so I'll just go back to being properly consistent! Ah, it all makes sense now. Okay. Onwards and upwards...

Le Smoking tagged me in a short but sweet little questionnaire thingamabob and, since I completely adore her glamorous smoking photo compilations on a daily basis, I am going to complete it to the best of my ability.
Clothes Shop: thrift and vintage shops first and foremost, Holt Renfrew for my big purchases (which are occuring less and less since real 'adulthood' kicked in and I have actual expenses that need to be met), and Urban Planet, H&M, Zara, blah blah blah for everything else.
Furniture Shop: Good question, that's precisely what I'm attempting to figure out right now! Ikea is unavoidable and occasionally good, I adore Umbra and a little vintage Art Deco shop downtown, and craigslist probably trumps any furniture store out there considering the amazing deals and often great finds I've stumbled upon on there! You've got to love the internet.
Sweets: I'm honestly not a fan in general, but I don't mind a chocolate covered macadamia nut here or there I suppose.
City: Toronto, obviously. Vancouver is also wonderful. I definitely wouldn't say no to London (rather, the UK in general), Paris, Belgrade, or anywhere in California though.
Drink: If I'm out it's gin and soda water with two limes, the rest of the time I'm good with a nice glass (or a few) of red wine.
Music: this is a veritable Pandora's Box of a question, so for today I'm just going to leave it at proper rock n' roll.
TV Series: The Riches, How Not To Live Your Life, Gossip Girl, Footballer's Wives, LOST. Pretty standard stuff all in all.
Film: Difficult question, and one that I definitely cannot conclusively answer today.
Workout: I don't in the summer because I find it boring and redundant considering I walk eveywhere, but in the winter I'm quite partial to running.
Pastries: I don't like them. Except for cheese croissants, which when properly made are delicious.
Coffee: Venti Bold with a touch of soy milk.
I tag whoever feels up to completing this! I really do love you all which makes it impossible for me to deem some 'tagged' and others not.

Oh, and one last thing - because of my absenteeism in the blogosphere yesterday I will be posting yet another diatribe later in the afternoon, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Wearing (my monochromatic standard)
High-waisted button jeans: Urban Planet
Tank: The Gap
Cardigan: Club Monaco
Shoes: F21

  1. Try Structube or EQ3 for similarly priced but better quality furniture then Ikea if you're planning on buying new stuff.
