Once on, these leggings are perfect and perhaps the most comfortable article of clothing ever, but - and it's a small but - the manufacturer of these did the weirdest thing by making the ankle without an ounce of stretch, meaning that getting them over my feet is, sarcastically speaking, a total barrel of fun. Nonetheless, I do like them on more than I expected I would, and I plan on making good use of them throughout the winter, as inspired by the mindblowingly creative and fashionable Queen Michelle over at Kingdom of Style.
In other news, I've determined that I very much miss my summer tan, and am hence spending my morning coffee-blogging-desk time debating with myself: to fake and bake or to not fake and bake? If there are two 'institutions' I loathe they would be [most] gyms and tanning salons without question, meaning the very notion of stepping foot in such a place is enough to make me content with being perpetually unfit and pale. That being said, am I really being rational about the whole thing? This is a pretty shallow concern to begin with. Moving on...
While I do quite like the outfit I wore yesterday to run about the city in, it's more the fact that G took some brilliantly psychedelic photos that makes it wicked good I think....n.b. for everyone and anyone who has ever asked or wondered: I have barely ever used a self-timer in my life, and G takes every single photo that goes up on here unless otherwise noted. I am so, so continually impressed with his photography, and is it not like the coolest thing ever that he does this fashion blogging business with me? I seriously feel as though I have the best mate/partner/friend in the world.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and isn't feeling the Monday-itis I get from time to time too harshly today. And if you are, keep on keeping on and maybe have another coffee (or whatever your vice is for that matter)...

ReplyDeleteI wish I would have gone the UO route, but I really do like the leggings.
ReplyDeleteThey look great on you, babe. =)
love the leggings, and your shirt!
ReplyDeletehow are they (DML) live?
and i think pale looks better than tanned :)
cool pics and outfit
ReplyDeleteFleur: DML are stunningly good live! I would highly recommend going to their show if you're thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteFashionbeat: thank you!
Hey girlie!! I LOVED your comments, actually they made my day. Which Bebe dress did you get!? There are so many good ones, it figures I'd buy two of the same style, different color. And good call with the urban leggings, I have the american apparel ones, and they dont stay up. it is really annoying. The Kova and T brand latex laggings are the best Ive tried so far.
ReplyDeleteAll your photos look amazing as usual. It looks so beautiful where you are!
You need photos in the Bebe bandage dress now!
xx

oh my- i seriously just bought my first pair of leggings a week ago. i can't believe it.
and of course after seeing your hot bod in those leggings...makes me so excited for mine to arrive!
ps- NOOO do not fake tan. You have the most gorgeous skin. i say spf 100. Your skin will thank you in 20 years.
happy monday.
x.
thanks again.x.
Really like the color of the background !
ReplyDeleteOh sweet leggings! You look lovely.
ReplyDeleteLoving these photos again, all the colours in them are always fantastic. G is very talented. I wish I had someone cool like that to take my photos.
I also think if you are going to fake tan, don't bake, get some of that fake tan moisturiser you can just put on yourself. I use that sometimes, and if you do it the right way it looks pretty awesome. Also it's not bad for your skin.
Stay cool

You're totally rocking those leggings, and that scarf is cool. Don't bother tanning, not worth the effort, you have to do a lot of exfoliating, moisturising, never mind washing brown stained sheets. You have gorgeous colouring stick with it.
ReplyDeleteFrom one proud and loud pale person to another, lol.
I looove my latexy leggings, I don't care if everybody else loves theirs too! I think we're all onto something. . . That's so weird they're cheaper at UO!
ReplyDeletecute cute cute
No fake bake! Don't do it girl.
ReplyDeleteVery cool casual outfit. I wish I could pull it off. You look great.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! Love the leggings!
ReplyDeletelove this outfit! the leggings are perfect!
ReplyDeletehey you ...
ReplyDeleteI am completely and totally against fake baking, plus a lot of people end up looking like umpa lumpa's.I think that you have a beautiful skin tone as it is :)
I have yet to conform to the leggings trend... I feel so naked. But you look wonderful and definately wear them really well.
And I must say you're a lucky girl, G is truly an amazing photographer. :)
P.S. Are you attending blogger's breakfast this Sunday?
my boyfriend takes my photos for the blog too. no self timer. but your photos are way better than mine. but isn't it the thought that counts?
ReplyDeletelove the leggings. i got mine from h&m because the ones from aa are really expensive!
you look lovely girl!you never get it wrong
ReplyDeletei seriously think you should NEVER let g go. my bf hates the whole photo taking, hence, i either get someone else or am left to my own devices.
ReplyDeletethose leggings look perfect!
i love this entire outfit infact especailly the scarf! i love the warm glow of the photos so pretty.. i miss fall!
those are the diy boots aren't they? looking amazing!
p.s once the last traces of summer fade away you'll forget about tanning and fitness because you'll be hidden under masses of clothes, then spring will come around and you'll think about it again. but seriously all winter i didn't even realize.
love love love it!
ReplyDeleteand your hair is still gorgeous!
